I have been thinking of starting a food and travel blog for some time, but always seemed to come up with an excuse to put it on the long finger until now. I hope to share my love of travel and great food with you here with lots of reviews, stories, tips and advice! Over the past three years, I’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to some wonderful places: Albania, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Montenegro, Morocco, Romania and Slovakia. If you do your homework, there are some wonderful deals to be found and I’ve managed to do most of the trips on a fairly low budget. I usually have a good map reader with me who does most of the navigation  (thanks Mark! 🙂  as this isn’t my forte unfortunately!

Eachtraí Chiara is the Irish for Ciara’s adventures! I will write mostly as Gaeilge but from time to time will write posts in English!
